Software Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Implement DevOps solutions for a Big Data-based Enterprise Content Platform.
• Participate in feature architecture and define DevOps requirements.
• Analyze and select tools for DevOps environments and deployment workflows.
• Ensure infrastructure for DevOps tooling and environments is available.
• Discuss technical solutions with technical and management leadership.
• Build working relationships with users and architecture teams while developing expertise across platform technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience using Java and build and deployment tools.
• Command-line Linux administration experience, including writing or customizing shell scripts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to serve as a technical resource and mentor for other team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with Perl and Python scripting.
• Experience with Apache Ant build scripts.
• Experience using and maintaining Git or TFS version control systems.
