What you will do

• Provide day-to-day 24x7 operational support for an IP-based video solution.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application issues in production and pre-production environments.
• Automate infrastructure operations and deployments with Puppet, Git, and scripting.
• Develop and maintain capacity models for a growing cloud architecture.
• Support production code deployments and contribute to system design and planning for future IP video products and services.
• Investigate incidents using Splunk logs, network traces, issue reproduction, bug tracking, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing operational support.
• Knowledge of Puppet, Git, JSON, CentOS, Couchbase, Splunk, and Op5.
• Experience with Couchbase, AWS, video transcoding, video stream package management, and DRM technologies.
• Ability to participate in scheduled 24x7 on-call and escalation support.
