DevOps Engineer (Platform Automation)

What you will do

• Build, improve, and maintain DevOps automation for DC-MLS Enterprise deployments and initial site stand-up activities.
• Develop and manage Linux-based deployment, configuration, and operational workflows across secure environments.
• Create scripting and automation solutions for provisioning, repeatable deployments, and platform reliability.
• Use configuration management, revision control, and source management tools to manage changes and support releases.
• Partner with enterprise and core teams on DC-MLS implementations across HPC and other contract environments.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph required.
• Security+ certification.
• 5+ years of combined experience in Linux, scripting or software development, and configuration management.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting tools.
• Experience with CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, and GitLab CI.
• Experience developing and managing DevOps deployment automation processes.

• Experience supporting secure enterprise deployments in mission-focused environments.
• Experience with Linux-based DevOps workflows across HPC or multi-level secure systems.
• Experience improving deployment speed, consistency, and operational support through automation.
