What you will do

• Design electrical systems and solutions for bespoke engineering projects.
• Write technical specifications and select appropriate components.
• Prepare inspection, test, and FAT documentation.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support project costing, budgeting, and commissioning activities.
• Contribute to standardization and efficiency improvements within the department.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a project-driven engineering environment.
• Strong expertise in power distribution (230V/440VAC), machine control, and control panel design.
• Proficiency with Electrical CAD tools, preferably EPLAN Electric P8.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and relevant marine/offshore standards like DNV GL or Lloyd’s.

Nice to have

• Experience with subsea or high voltage systems.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC61508, IEC61511, IEC13849).
• Previous experience in commissioning and testing.
