CNC Machinist (1st Shift)

Location: Irving, TX, USA; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Set up and operate Fanuc and HAAS CNC milling centers using Mastercam.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, operation sequences, and setup requirements.
• Machine components to close tolerances using required gauges and inspection methods.
• Document setup and operating information with written descriptions, sketches, and photographs.
• Maintain quality, safety, equipment, and supply standards.
• Train junior operators and apprentices and support other assigned machining tasks.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of manual machining and CNC setup and operation experience with conversational programming.
• Ability to read and understand complex machine and component drawings.
• Ability to speak and read English and understand verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• US citizenship or permanent residency status may be required; confirm status during the application process.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Mastercam software.
• Experience training other operators.
