CNC Machinist

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, second shift, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and CNC-controlled milling machines, machining centers, lathes, grinders, drill presses, saws, and related hand tools.
• Machine prototype components from 3D models and engineering blueprints while meeting specified tolerances.
• Design and construct fixtures, select tooling and operating parameters, and complete bench work for prototype builds.
• Maintain machine tools, equipment, and the laboratory work area.
• Support hydro testing, inspection, pattern approvals, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and laboratory staff while following safety procedures and contributing technical recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least eight years of machine shop or related experience.
• Proficiency in blueprint and assembly drawing interpretation, shop math, geometry, and precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with drilling, tapping, filing, assembly, and component inspection for form, fit, and function.
• Ability to program, set up, operate, and safely maintain CNC-controlled and other laboratory machine tools.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.
