TL;DR
Test and Evaluation Analyst (Radar Systems) (U.S. Navy radar programs): Providing test and evaluation analysis and engineering support for PEO IWS 2 Heritage Radar programs with an accent on test planning, data analysis, performance assessment, and reporting. Focus on developing test documentation, coordinating test readiness and execution reviews, and analyzing results in laboratory and shipboard environments.

What you will do

  • Provide test and evaluation analysis and engineering support for PEO IWS 2 Heritage Radar programs.
  • Support in-service radar test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting alongside the Developmental Test Lead.
  • Develop and maintain TEMP, MTS, ground test plans, flight test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Coordinate test and evaluation activities between the program office, test range, Navy organizations, contractors, and system developers.
  • Support Test Readiness Reviews and Test Execution Reviews, including presentations, agendas, meetings, action items, and minutes.
  • Respond to data calls and prepare technical briefs for the Program Office with Naval Warfare Center personnel.

Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, or engineering.
  • Experience applying DOD 5000.89 to test and evaluation and systems engineering policy.
  • Experience developing test plans and procedures, verifying requirements, executing tests, or applying test processes.
  • Practical knowledge of U.S. Navy radar systems and experience in a laboratory or shipboard test environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and competence with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with shipboard installation processes and the PEO IWS Element Certification Process.
  • Knowledge of Combat System Elements.
  • Experience with Change Requests and Engineering Change Proposals.
