Radar Analyst/Team Manager (Radar Systems): Developing and analyzing a new U.S. Army radar system integrated with existing air and missile defense systems with an accent on AESA radar hardware, radar architecture, signal processing, and performance analysis. Focus on leading radar and seeker/signal processing engineers, building MATLAB-based analysis tools, evaluating system modifications, and briefing government and warfighter stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Analyze radar system performance across modeling and simulation, testing, and real-world operations.
  • Lead a team of radar and seeker/signal processing engineers and mentor subject matter experts.
  • Analyze search, track, discrimination, electronic protection, EMI, debris and false-target mitigation, and missile guidance support functions.
  • Develop and update MATLAB-based analysis tools and data-reduction techniques.
  • Prepare performance briefings and reports for government project offices, evaluators, and warfighters, including issues and recommended solutions.
  • Evaluate hardware and software modifications and their potential impact on system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another STEM field with 8+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Expertise in AESA radar hardware, radar architecture, and signal processing.
  • Working knowledge of C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense systems engineering processes and experience providing subject matter expertise to customers.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience supporting government customers directly.
  • Strong technical problem-solving, communication, presentation, and consensus-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
