Director, Finance Technology

Location: Chicago, IL; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship

Salary: $164,600–$288,000 USD base pay annually

What you will do

• Define and execute the Finance Technology strategy and modernization roadmap.
• Lead enterprise-scale transformation across accounting engines, platform consolidation, and finance data standardization.
• Own delivery, stability, controls, and evolution of Planning, Accounting Rules Engine, subledger, General Ledger, and regulatory reporting platforms.
• Translate Finance, Treasury, Risk, and regulatory requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Lead global engineering and product teams while improving delivery, release management, incident response, succession planning, and operational resilience.
• Govern strategic vendors, manage technology spend, and ensure delivery quality and roadmap alignment.

Requirements

• Senior technology leadership experience with Finance, Accounting, or Regulatory platforms in a regulated financial services environment.
• Hands-on engineering, architecture, or platform engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of finance data flows, accounting processes, controls, reconciliation, data lineage, and regulatory reporting, including FR2052a.
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder transformation programs and large-scale Finance platforms.
• Experience building and leading global technology teams and managing strategic vendors.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.
