Global Category Manager (Electronics)

Location: Shanghai, China; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for electronics categories, including PCBAs, electrical components, and motors.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ processes, contract negotiations, and supplier qualification.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and improve quality, delivery, cost, and supply security.
• Drive total cost of ownership, value analysis/value engineering, should-costing, and supplier development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on production and new product development activities.
• Manage supplier risks and ensure compliance with procurement processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Supply Chain.
• 8+ years of experience in direct-materials procurement or category management within electronics or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading global and regional sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen, contract management, analytical, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems, plus strong Excel and analytics skills.
• Business-fluent English and Chinese are required.
