Location: Beijing, China; onsite role with at least 40% travel

What you will do
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead sourcing projects to achieve year-over-year savings targets.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Source, qualify, select, and optimize suppliers while building strategic partnerships.
- Manage supplier delivery, quality, performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead bidding, price and contract negotiations, material cost-reduction activities, and sourcing for new product development and transfer projects.
- Support PPAP approvals, supplier NCR resolution, China sourcing requests from overseas entities, and commodity management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field; a master’s degree is accepted with reduced experience requirements.
- At least 8 years of sourcing, procurement, purchasing, buying, or related project management experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years with a master’s degree, preferably in manufacturing.
- Oral and written English proficiency required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, integrity, compliance awareness, and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with SAP and office software, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work variable hours and willingness to travel at least 40%.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple commodities.
- Vessel fabrication or welding, fluid machinery, or electrical cabinet assembly experience in the filtration industry.
- Experience in an MNC industrial manufacturing factory.
- Team management and cross-functional project management experience with demonstrated results.
