Management Consulting Director (Supply Chain Advisory)

Location: Dallas, United States; travel as needed

Compensation: $134,000–$269,000 annually, plus discretionary performance bonus

What you will do

• Lead the national growth of the Operations & Supply Chain Advisory practice through business development, account expansion, and relationship management.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for operational transformation, supply chain optimization, value creation, and private equity clients.
• Lead client engagements covering supply chain strategy, operational due diligence, M&A integration, EBITDA improvement, cost optimization, and working capital improvement.
• Advise executive leaders, private equity sponsors, operating partners, and portfolio company management teams.
• Oversee engagement quality, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, project profitability, and risk.
• Mentor consulting teams and develop reusable methodologies, frameworks, tools, and intellectual property.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, advisory services, or industry leadership focused on operations and supply chain transformation.
• Experience leading and growing consulting practices, service lines, or business units.
• Proven success selling and delivering complex consulting engagements and managing engagement financials, profitability, project risk, and client relationships.
• Expertise in areas such as supply chain strategy, operations transformation, operational due diligence, M&A, value creation, procurement, inventory management, distribution, logistics, manufacturing operations, organizational design, or pricing.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder advisory skills; willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with private equity firms, portfolio companies, operational due diligence, and post-merger integration.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, industrials, healthcare, life sciences, transportation, or related industries.
• Experience with digital supply chain enablement and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder.
• Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, PMP, or other operational excellence certification.
