Senior Controlling Specialist

Location: Warsaw, Poland — onsite or hybrid

hirify.global operates a product business combining e-commerce with the production of metal posters.

What you will do

• Drive selected month-end close procedures and calculate accruals.
• Prepare management, statutory, board, and shareholder reporting.
• Partner with business leaders and provide finance recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Automate and improve finance processes.
• Use Excel, Power BI, and AI tools to turn complex data into clear outputs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of month-end close, accruals, IFRS, management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience preparing reports and running variance analysis.
• Excel proficiency; Power BI and AI tools are advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required for work in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial topics clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce, D2C, marketplace, or manufacturing environments.
• Big 4 experience.
• Experience working in multi-entity, fast-moving international businesses.
