Expert in Financial Reporting (Investment Funds)

Location: Kraków, Poland. Hybrid model: 3 days per week in the office; 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old.

What you will do

• Own the financial reporting process for international investment funds from preparation through final review.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, Cash Flow statements, Schedules of Investments, and accompanying notes.
• Apply IFRS, US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Irish GAAP across different fund structures and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with international clients, external auditors, and colleagues across locations throughout the reporting cycle.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and strengthen financial reporting processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, or a related finance field, including hands-on experience preparing or reviewing financial statements.
• Solid accounting knowledge and experience with IFRS, US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, Irish GAAP, or similar reporting frameworks; expertise in all frameworks is not required.
• Experience taking ownership of complex processes, leading projects, or supporting and developing others.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English and confident communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, auditors, and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Good Excel skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Exposure to investment funds, asset management, financial services, or audit of financial institutions.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA, completed or in progress.
