Senior Business Performance Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Analyse CoMA performance and forecasts, linking results to commercial and financial drivers.
• Partner with commercial, demand and supply planning teams on monthly IBP forecasts covering revenue, business mix, variable production costs and profitability.
• Report business performance against the five-year plan, budget and forecast, explaining variances and business implications.
• Provide actionable insights on customer and order-book performance to regional leadership.
• Develop financial decision-support tools for commercial opportunities and evaluate financial implications.
• Support automation projects and strengthen financial understanding across non-finance functions by explaining P&L and profitability drivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an international manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a commercially focused, top-line-driven analytical role with close commercial or sales-team partnership.
• Strong understanding of P&L, forecasting and profitability drivers.
• Strong SAP skills and excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with, or a strong interest in, Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics, Alteryx, automation and AI-enabled analytics.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of analysis and follow-up actions, and connect commercial activity with financial outcomes.
• Proactive communication and business-partnering skills, including the ability to build credibility, influence stakeholders and challenge assumptions.
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Nice to have

• Experience in the chemical or industrial products manufacturing sector and in a complex multinational organisation.
• Knowledge of another European language.
