Finance Reporting Lead (SaaS)

What you will do

• Own the monthly management reporting package and translate variances into actionable business drivers.
• Lead statutory reporting and year-end audits under IFRS and local GAAP, serving as the main contact for auditors and tax advisors.
• Manage multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and FX translation.
• Run the close calendar and internal controls, addressing root causes of reporting issues.
• Automate reporting workflows with Finance Systems to reduce manual work and shorten the close.
• Lead and coach a small accounting team while handling complex, judgment-heavy close activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial or statutory reporting, audit, or controllership, including strong hands-on IFRS knowledge.
• Experience consolidating multiple entities and currencies, including eliminations, FX translation, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience running statutory audits and working directly with external auditors.
• 1–2 years of experience leading or mentoring accountants, preferably as a hands-on player-coach.
• ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or a local equivalent completed or substantially complete.
• Curious and organized approach, with strong focus on root-cause analysis, accuracy, and adaptability when priorities shift.
• Fluent English and Ukrainian.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-growing international technology or SaaS company, ideally with IFRS 15 revenue recognition for subscriptions or digital products.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with consolidation software or BI tools on large datasets.
• Experience leading reporting automation or an ERP rollout, including AI agents in accounting workflows.
• Familiarity with US GAAP or other local GAAP, transfer pricing, and ICFR controls.
