Workday Financials - Sr Consultant - Banking and Settlements (Workday)

Location: Chicago, United States; willingness to travel up to 50% as needed

Base salary: $120,000–$145,000 annually. Total estimated compensation including annual incentive opportunity: $130,000–$166,750.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing projects or workstreams across Workday Financials engagements.
• Analyze requirements, identify key implications, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Write functional specifications, conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and interface with business users.
• Create compelling, client-ready presentations and project documentation.
• Manage project workstreams with limited supervision and coordinate work across projects of different scales and durations.
• Develop Analysts and Coachees and contribute to the professional development of hirify.global staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, and working with business users.
• 1–2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Functional or technical expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.

Nice to have

• Workday Financials Certification.
• Experience implementing Workday Procurement, Grants, or Financial Accounting.
• Experience implementing Workday Financial Banking and Settlements or Customer Accounts.
• Experience establishing trust with senior-level financial executives in university and hospital environments.
• Strong Excel skills and experience training or mentoring professional staff.
