Business Performance Improvement - Finance Transformation (Workday Financials) Senior Manager (Workday Financials)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago or Atlanta, with in-person work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required.

Salary: $131,000–$209,000 annual base salary, with a 14% bonus target and estimated total cash of $149,340–$238,260.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale Workday Financials implementations and finance transformation engagements.
• Manage future-state design and process improvement initiatives for Record to Report and Order to Cash functions.
• Coordinate client teams, system integrators, third-party vendors, and internal teams across process alignment, organizational readiness, issue resolution, testing, training, and deployment.
• Lead requirements definition, design workshops, data conversion, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Develop implementation plans, including effort estimates, timelines, and costs for Workday Financials and Accounting Center.
• Build executive client relationships, identify new opportunities, develop proposals, and mentor engagement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as MIS, Finance/Accounting, or Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading or managing complex Workday Financials implementations, including project management, solution architecture, or workstream leadership.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Direct supervisory experience, including performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, work oversight, and team coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in Record to Report and/or Contracts to Cash.
• Workday Accounting Center or Prism certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Python, and Power BI for data conversion, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
