Workday Financials Associate Director (Workday)

Location: Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA

Salary: $154,000–$262,000 per year, plus a 16% bonus target; estimated total cash range of $178,640–$303,920.

What you will do

• Lead complex Workday Financials implementation engagements and oversee project work plans.
• Manage future-state design and process improvement initiatives for Record to Report and/or Order to Cash functions.
• Coordinate client teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors across process alignment, readiness, issue resolution, testing, training, and deployment.
• Develop implementation plans, including effort estimates, timelines, and costs, and support requirements definition, workshops, data conversion, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Build senior client relationships, identify new opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to business development.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and evaluate teams while promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as MIS, Finance/Accounting, or Engineering.
• 9+ years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Experience leading or managing Workday Financials implementations, including R2R and/or O2C design and implementation.
• Experience as a solution architect, project manager, and/or workstream lead for Workday Financials.
• Experience managing large, complex Workday Financials implementations and developing Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans.
• Experience with requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Experience establishing relationships with senior executives, pursuing business development opportunities, and communicating issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel.
• Direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work review, team coordination, and motivation.
