Senior Consultant - Workday Financials

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Support client Workday Financial Management workstreams and recommend functional best practices.
• Modify and engineer business processes to meet client requirements across the Workday platform.
• Develop system configurations, dashboards, composite reports, calculated fields, prototypes, and testing solutions.
• Support implementations through data-gathering workbooks, system testing, UAT, and legacy data conversion.
• Troubleshoot business process failures, perform root-cause analysis, and create mitigation plans.
• Assist with third-party and custom integrations, identify release-related enhancements, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct Workday Financial Management implementation experience, including Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management.
• 2+ years of experience as an Implementation Senior Consultant or Systems Senior Analyst with Workday, a Workday Partner, or a Workday client.
• Experience with Workday reporting tools, dashboards, custom validations, condition rules, and calculated fields.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and end-to-end processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Customer-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Banking and Settlement, Budgeting, Inventory, and Grants Management.
• Experience with project workstreams, training, data governance, security, tenant configuration, system development life cycle, and integration development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and concurrent client-management skills; a Finance or Accounting degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
