Senior Consultant (Workday Payroll)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Configure and implement Workday Payroll solutions in line with tax, labor, and regulatory requirements.
• Gather client requirements, analyze payroll needs, and design scalable processes based on best practices.
• Support integrations with time tracking, benefits, and accounting systems.
• Configure earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, retroactivity, and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Conduct unit, parallel, and end-to-end payroll testing, troubleshoot issues, and guide resolution.
• Prepare documentation, deliver training, support knowledge transfer, and monitor Workday releases.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience with a strong focus on Workday Payroll.
• Experience configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Payroll solutions.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax processing, garnishments, retroactivity, and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and cross-functional project teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
