Client Leader/Project Manager (Public Markets)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Four days per week are worked in the office, with flexibility to work elsewhere on Fridays.

Salary: $93,300–$144,700 USD per year, depending on location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Manage relationships with public-sector clients and community stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities across government, education, civic, public safety, and community facility markets.
• Support RFQs, RFPs, interviews, presentations, and pursuit strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations and help define project scope, fees, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate design teams, technical teams, consultants, and project partners through project execution.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, invoicing, risks, opportunities, and overall project financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, or a related construction field; professional licensure is preferred.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in the AEC industry, including at least 5 years in a client-facing role.
• Experience leading large-scale architectural projects and working with state and local jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of business management, strategic planning, resource allocation, customer service, and client satisfaction.
• Expertise in design techniques and tools for producing technical plans, drawings, and models, plus familiarity with construction methods, materials, and systems.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, communication, active listening, and stakeholder decision-making skills.
