Content Vendor Manager (Legal Content)

Location: Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands; applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office during the recruitment process.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end content delivery through external vendors, from acquisition and maintenance to enrichment and release.
• Optimize content workflows, metadata processes, quality standards, KPIs, and content supply chain strategy.
• Manage vendor relationships, including service quality, Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements, rate cards, pricing, terms, and invoices.
• Lead content and vendor-related projects in alignment with product roadmaps, business goals, customer needs, and divisional programs.
• Monitor vendor and content system performance, benchmark costs and outcomes, and implement continuous process improvements.
• Drive the transition from managed services to SaaS and AI-enabled automation, including print vendor management and offshore vendor team oversight.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Master’s degree in any field; a law degree is an advantage.
• Experience in vendor management and business processes.
• In-depth knowledge of vendor management, content operations, process optimization, and content metadata.
• Strong communication, financial literacy, self-organization, change leadership, and influencing skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems using analysis from multiple information sources and collaborate across diverse global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with legal content or legal data.
• Awareness of industry best practices, competition, and market differentiators.
