The hirify.global is an international judicial institution whose Office of the Prosecutor investigates and prosecutes cases supported by specialised language services.

What you will do

• Supervise the daily operations of interpretation, transcription, and translation teams.
• Develop policies, procedures, strategies, and plans for efficient language-service delivery.
• Coordinate language-service requirements and timelines with divisions, sections, and teams across the Office of the Prosecutor.
• Monitor service quality, implement improvements, and maintain external language-service vendor arrangements.
• Prepare and manage the Language Services Unit budget and report on performance and resource needs.
• Lead recruitment, staff development, coaching, training, and performance management for the unit.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in linguistics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in translation, interpretation, linguistics, or law; 9 years is required with a first-level university degree.
• Proven operational management experience leading translation and/or interpretation teams in an international organisation, including language quality assurance.
• Familiarity with legal, military, medical, forensic, human rights, administrative, and financial terminology.
• Proficiency in both working languages of the Court: English and French.
• The post is restricted to nationals of an ICC States Party or eligible accession/ratification state.

Nice to have

• Training or certification in translation techniques and methods.
• Experience in budget planning and preparation.
• Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish.
