VP - Head of Liquidity & Exchange Services (Crypto)

Location: Remote within the United States, with candidates located within a 1-hour driving radius of the Chicago or New York office hubs. The posting also references UK/Amsterdam hubs for EMEA.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and operations of digital asset liquidity and exchange services across CLOB and RFQ trading systems.
• Build and manage relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, stablecoin issuers, and distribution partners.
• Develop liquidity strategies, incentive structures, settlement optimization, and OTC trading operations.
• Manage asset configuration and listing processes in coordination with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Product, and Finance.
• Monitor market depth, order-book quality, liquidity-provider uptime, asset support, and trading volume; produce internal and external reporting.
• Identify liquidity risks, ensure AML and regulatory compliance, and present analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience leading exchange or liquidity services, liquidity operations, strategy, or related functions.
• 5–8+ years of FinTech experience and direct crypto or digital asset experience, preferably at a major crypto exchange.
• Proven experience in trading, market making, or liquidity management across traditional financial markets and cryptocurrencies or stablecoins.
• Experience building and scaling teams and operational processes from scratch.
• Strong analytical, executive communication, market-maker relationship management, and C-suite or board presentation skills.
• Must be based in the United States and able to travel to team hubs.

• Banking or brokerage infrastructure experience.
• Experience driving AI or major technology adoption within an operating business at scale.
