Global FSQ Senior Manager Specification Governance (PLM/specification governance): Managing enterprise-wide governance of the global specification process with an accent on data integrity, lifecycle control, regulatory compliance, and risk-based approvals. Focus on defining scalable standards, leading change control, improving audit readiness, monitoring governance KPIs, and developing a global specification and data governance team.
Location: Amsterdam; normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, and offices

What you will do
- Define and maintain global specification standards, naming conventions, business rules, ownership models, validation rules, and lifecycle controls in the PLM/specification management ecosystem.
- Lead specification change control and collaborate with IT/Digital, R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and regional stakeholders.
- Establish risk-based conditional approval protocols, manage exception escalations, and support internal and external audits.
- Develop onboarding, training, job aids, and SOPs for specification creation, review, approval, and change control.
- Define and monitor KPIs covering specification completeness, right-first-time quality, approval cycle times, exceptions, audit findings, and data quality.
- Lead and develop a team of specification and data governance professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in science, engineering, quality, regulatory, data/technology, supply chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing specifications, quality systems, regulatory or quality data, or related governance at a regional or global level.
- Strong understanding of data governance fundamentals, including standards, stewardship, controls, data quality, and lifecycle management.
- Experience influencing and leading cross-functional stakeholders across geographies, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex requirements and drive adoption.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
