Software Engineer 2 (Hybrid) - AWS/Hadoop/Accumulo/Terraform/Python/Java

Location: Hybrid in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Develop software solutions in AWS using managed services.
• Build and enhance systems involving Hadoop and Accumulo.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows with Terraform.
• Develop and maintain applications in Java and Python.
• Deliver software for government programs and contracts with similar scope and complexity.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with AWS, Hadoop, Accumulo, Terraform, Java, and Python.
