Location: Remote within the US except San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and surrounding areas

Salary: $116,960–$171,900 depending on location

What you will do

• Collaborate with tech leaders and architects to develop solutions for distributed computing and infrastructure management.
• Automate operational issues including monitoring, performance, and disaster response.
• Participate in on-call rotation supporting critical infrastructure.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code standards to ensure high-quality implementations.
• Author and review design documents, runbooks, and system change records.
• Act as point of contact for legacy and new compute system components.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure including AMI, EC2, IAM policies, and Auto Scaling Groups.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming and shell scripting.
• Experience with hardened base AMIs and container-based applications.
• Ability to work independently with global teams on infrastructure platform development and operations.
• Remote work restricted to US locations excluding San Francisco Bay area.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with deployment tools like Terraform, ArgoCD, Harness, and continuous deployment processes.
• Operational experience with distributed systems monitoring tools such as DataDog and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and compliance frameworks like PCI and SOX.
• Experience with AI technologies such as Claude AI.
