Associate Material Handler (MedTech)

What you will do

• Verify purchase orders and shipping orders against packing slips, stock numbers, and listed information.
• Maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, material-location, and in-process production records through data entry.
• Compare inventory records with physical stock counts, document discrepancies, and support corrective actions.
• Compile material receipt and disbursement information and calculate inventory balances, prices, and costs.
• Package materials and equipment securely with accurate shipping documentation and efficient transportation routing.
• Investigate misdirected shipments, freight overcharges, damaged shipments, and shortages.

Requirements

• Typically one year of related experience.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office, document management software, and internet navigation.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to present information to customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate percentages, proportions, discounts, costs, and other figures and amounts.
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds or occasionally up to 25 pounds; operation of a powered industrial truck and work at elevations up to 50 feet may be required.
