Team Lead (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Byhalia, Mississippi, United States; onsite distribution operations

Salary: $46,400–$58,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse and distribution activities while coordinating with employees and management.
• Assign work, maintain efficiency standards, and ensure products are handled safely without damage.
• Process receipts, assign trailers to docks, and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
• Resolve inventory, plant, distribution center, sample, damage, and return-goods discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Support system validation, continuous improvement projects, shipment labeling, and regulatory, environmental, health, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of warehouse experience and knowledge of material flow and distribution processes.
• Ability to operate stand-up, sit-down, and reach forklifts.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, communicate by telephone with product vendor locations, and complete required documentation and training.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.
