Senior Cloud Administrator (Azure)

What you will do

• Support developers and production services operating in Microsoft Azure.
• Operate and maintain existing cloud services.
• Participate in architecture discussions and evaluate new technologies.
• Develop tools to monitor and manage cloud environments and enforce established policies.
• Collaborate with developers and operations managers to maintain stable production services.

Requirements

• Strong Linux systems administration experience, particularly with CentOS 7 or Red Hat 7.
• Experience managing Azure users, roles, permissions, compute instances, VPCs, subnets, routing, and firewall rules or security groups.
• Experience writing scripts to automate management tasks using Bourne/bash shell, Ruby, Python, or Perl.
• Familiarity with subnetting, basic routing, UDP, TCP, and ICMP.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to change.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, CI tools, Windows administration, Active Directory, and Puppet.
• Experience with Terraform, Packer, cloud-init, native cloud CLIs or APIs, and enterprise or cloud monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
