Senior Consultant (Azure/Cybersecurity)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, USA; onsite support and local travel across the DMV area (Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia) are required.

What you will do

• Manage and support a portfolio of client IT environments across cloud, networking, servers, and security.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting for network, server, and cloud-related issues in the DMV area.
• Manage infrastructure migrations, refreshes, and upgrades with minimal business disruption.
• Monitor systems proactively, identify vulnerabilities, and implement maintenance and reliability improvements.
• Maintain SLA compliance, report on system health and resolution metrics, and communicate with clients.
• Implement security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience working in an MSP environment and managing diverse client infrastructures.
• Proficiency with Azure or AWS, Cisco or Meraki enterprise networking, and cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, remote access, virtualization, and proactive monitoring.
• Ability to manage multiple clients while meeting or exceeding SLAs.
• Willingness to provide onsite support and travel locally across the DMV area.

Nice to have

• Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or other relevant technical certifications.
