Field Service Engineer (Recycling Systems)

Location: Home-based within the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium, with approximately 80% travel to customer sites across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Europe.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, test, integrate, optimize, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hirify.global Recycling systems.
• Perform field service activities at customer sites across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Europe.
• Prepare accurate service reports, expense reports, and technical documentation after installations and interventions.
• Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance teams and internal Service Engineers.
• Provide technical support by phone and respond to customer and equipment issues in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to improve system performance, reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; technician certification with relevant hands-on experience is also accepted.
• Experience with technical problem-solving and troubleshooting using a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, with approximately 80% travel.

• Dutch or Flemish language skills.
