Control Room Specialist (SCADA)

Location: On-site in Duiven and Elst, Netherlands. The role supports the Duiven hub, with on-demand support for the Elst station, on a rotating day, afternoon, and night shift schedule from Monday to Saturday.

What you will do

• Lead and provide automation support to operations while sorting shifts are in progress.
• Monitor SCADA signals, alarms, and logs, identify anomalies, and coordinate incident resolution.
• Dispatch Field Service Engineers and support troubleshooting of conveyor, electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure safe and effective performance of the sorting system during on-site sort operations.
• Assess and advise regular and senior technicians on technical execution and maintenance duties.
• Report breakdowns, parts usage, LOTO procedures, toolbox meetings, and maintenance activities through MAXIMO and related control documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant technical experience in maintenance, automation, or SCADA.
• Relevant MBO technical studies in electrical, electronic, or electromechanical disciplines.
• Experience in a similar role involving technical leadership responsibilities.
• English and Dutch language skills required in both written and spoken communication.
• Service mindset, accuracy, attention to detail, planning, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
