Field Service Engineer - Benelux (Netherlands & Flanders)

Location: Home-based within the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium, with frequent travel to customer sites across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Approximately 80% travel is required.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, test, integrate, optimize, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair TOMRA Recycling systems.
• Perform field service activities at customer sites across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and other European regions as required.
• Prepare accurate service reports and document service activities, expenses, installations, and technical interventions.
• Deliver on-site training to customer maintenance and service teams and internal Service Engineers.
• Provide phone-based technical support and respond to equipment issues in the field.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management while ensuring system reliability, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; a technician certification with relevant hands-on experience is also acceptable.
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical concepts to customers.
• Professional English proficiency is required.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands is required.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium is required.
