Supply Chain Manager (Inbound Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead daily receiving, dock scheduling, put-away, vendor returns, and inbound shipment coordination.
• Manage cycle counting, investigate inventory variances, improve location accuracy, and reduce shrink.
• Oversee damaged, expired, recalled, and non-saleable inventory, including supplier returns and write-off avoidance.
• Track dock-to-stock time, cycle count variance, lines per hour, shrink, and other distribution-center KPIs.
• Manage, coach, cross-train, and develop inbound and inventory associates.
• Identify process gaps, improve operating procedures, and maintain operational safety, discipline, and compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of distribution-center operations experience, including inbound logistics and inventory control.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a comparable environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, receiving, inventory processes, and distribution operations.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification; existing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50–70 pounds occasionally, stand and walk on concrete throughout the shift, work mandatory overtime when needed, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated distribution environments.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Existing forklift certification.
