Inbound Manager (Warehouse) (Logistics)

What you will do

• Supervise the Inbound department and oversee a growing team that may exceed 20 members.
• Schedule inbound trucks and coordinate with parcel, LTL, and truckload dispatchers and drivers.
• Ensure inbound freight is received, stocked, staged, and put away accurately and on time.
• Work with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Distribution Center teams to validate packing slips and reconcile material transfer discrepancies.
• Maintain secure dropped trailers, clean stage-bin locations, and accurate daily and weekly reports.
• Unload trucks, break down and stack freight, operate forklifts, and put product away as needed.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• 10 or more years of warehouse experience, including experience managing direct reports.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work on-site, remain on foot for up to 10 hours per day, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds consistently.
• Experience training associates, strong communication and leadership skills, and a demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office; ability to operate various types of forklifts.

• Experience with Manhattan WMS.
