Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: On-site in Columbus, Ohio, with additional locations in Fishers and Independence, Ohio, and Bellevue, Pennsylvania; work with on-site equipment is required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise software applications and services.
• Define scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
• Develop APIs, integrations, databases, web applications, and user-facing applications.
• Lead technical design sessions, architecture discussions, code reviews, and complex technology initiatives.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship across multiple engineering teams and projects.
• Drive testing, automation, quality engineering, production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution of technical incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or programming-focused Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 12–15 years of experience in application development, application support, production support, database administration, system administration, system engineering, or equivalent work.
• Hands-on programming experience with C#, Java, or similar contemporary languages, plus experience with Microsoft technologies such as Windows, .NET, and SQL Server or equivalent tools.
• Experience with web applications, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, relational data models, server-side architecture, and system design.
• Experience with CI/CD for on-premises and cloud deployments, source-code repositories, cloud ecosystems such as Azure or AWS, and information security in application development.
• Experience with production support, SDLC environments, agile work, testing automation, data warehouses or data marts, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, React, jQuery, SharePoint, FiServ Nautilus ECM, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Scrum and experience developing dashboards and reports.
• Expert knowledge of online banking architecture and SDK platforms.
