Lead Software Engineer (B2B Scores)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and support high-performance, low-latency services for B2B Scores projects serving internal and external clients.
• Develop business logic using Java, C++, Groovy, and Python, including cross-language delivery through proprietary frameworks.
• Contribute to software architecture and DevOps strategy using AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Support scalability, throughput, reliability, and operational excellence in demanding environments.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design collaboration while owning complex projects with senior engineers.
• Partner with Analytics, Data, and Product Management teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant software development and delivery experience.
• Strong coding skills in one or more of Java, C, C++, or .NET/C#.
• Experience with DevOps technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, software architecture, design patterns, SDLC, databases, SQL, and source control with Git or Bitbucket.
• Experience maintaining and upgrading product source code, writing product specifications, documenting features, and presenting to an audience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a geographically diverse team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile, test-driven development, and test automation.
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Load Balancers.
• Python or Groovy experience.
