Lead Software Engineer

Location: Livonia, Michigan, United States; onsite and relocation required

hirify.global develops technology solutions, including the Adams MultiBody Dynamics application for systems modeling and engineering simulation.

What you will do

• Implement Adams application backend business logic, persistence, and UI extensions.
• Develop new modeling objects and templates for Adams.
• Modernize the backend to leverage modern hardware.
• Expand automated test coverage and implement build and test pipeline logic.
• Collaborate with Adams product development teams and other hirify.global groups in an Agile process.
• Debug delivered features and contribute to usability improvements and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with multi-layered software architecture, including frameworks, plug-ins, and public APIs.
• Experience with VSCode and Copilot.
• Strong familiarity with Agentic AI and using AI to improve productivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to Livonia, Michigan.

Nice to have

• C++ and Qt coding experience.
• Familiarity with MVVM and MVC patterns.
• Vtune, JIRA, CAD/CAE, or GPU coding experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
