Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is only possible from within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud public cloud platform.
• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scale cloud backend.
• Work with hardware and physical infrastructure at the console.
• Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
• Automate infrastructure operations using common automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with platform and OpenStack ecosystem partners in an international specialist team.

Requirements

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
• 5–7 years of IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
• Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
• Extensive infrastructure automation experience and strong Linux and network-services expertise.
• Customer focus, knowledge of agile development processes, and the ability to assess technical solutions creatively.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to work from Hungary.

Nice to have

• OpenStack experience.
• Programming experience in open-source projects.
