Associate Technical Recruiter

Location: Hybrid in McLean, Virginia, USA; on-site every Wednesday, local candidates only. Work hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through onboarding.
• Source and engage candidates for IT, Cybersecurity, and corporate roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, SmartRecruiters, job boards, referrals, and professional networks.
• Review resumes, conduct candidate screenings, and assess technical experience, certifications, and role alignment.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate presentations, offer activities, onboarding, and new-hire orientation.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and talent pipelines in ATS and recruiting systems.
• Support proposal recruiting, business development initiatives, career fairs, employee referrals, and employer-branding activities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to work on-site in McLean, Virginia every Wednesday are required.
• Two or more years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing for IT, Cybersecurity, or other technical positions.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems such as SmartRecruiters, Workday Recruiting, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, or Taleo.
• Foundational understanding of IT and Cybersecurity recruiting concepts, technologies, and skill sets.
• Ability to assess resumes against technical requirements, manage multiple requisitions, and collaborate with hiring managers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience with Federal Government contracting, security-clearance recruiting, proposal recruiting, capture efforts, or business development.
• Knowledge of AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, enterprise IT operations, application development, systems integration, and emerging technologies.
