Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst

Location: Remote; must work an 8am–5pm Pacific Standard Time or Mountain Standard Time schedule

What you will do

• Manage approximately 175–200 workers’ compensation claims across assigned multistate territories, including medical-only and indemnity/lost-time claims.
• Investigate and monitor claims, determine compensability, review medical and legal documentation, and assess subrogation matters.
• Evaluate reserves and settlements, handle litigation requests, recommend cost-reduction strategies, and support claim closure.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, regional teams, senior management, and defense attorneys.
• Provide client claim oversight, guidance on claim reporting, claims reviews, QBR participation, and detailed reports on claims, payments, and reserves.
• Maintain compliance with service commitments while managing multiple internal RMIS systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience and/or third-party administrator claims oversight experience required.
• Availability for an 8am–5pm PST or MST schedule required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, perform detail-oriented work, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work remotely as a self-starter in a distributed team.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with workers’ compensation team members, regional teams, senior management, clients, carriers, and TPAs.

Nice to have

• PEO or staffing workers’ compensation claims oversight experience.
• Workers’ compensation claims management experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Previous experience working remotely in a distributed team.
