Credit Risk Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days from home

What you will do

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to evaluate the credit position of prospective insurance accounts.
• Advise on credit terms for premium payment and risk acceptance.
• Draft credit protection plans, payment arrangements, billing procedures, and related recommendations.
• Collaborate with producers, underwriters, agency management, and operations teams on credit risk decisions and policy estimates.
• Help minimize bad debt and maximize accounts receivable collections.
• Maintain required turnaround times and support a strong customer service model.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in customer service, finance, or accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and partnerships across departments.
