Claims Processing Analyst (Financial Lines and Liability)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; hybrid role with work-from-home options

What you will do

• Manage specialty claims across financial lines and liability, including coverage assessment, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, settlement, payment processing and finalization.
• Deliver responsive service and maintain claims portfolios in line with established service standards and SLAs.
• Build relationships with customers, agents, service providers and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to minimize claims costs and leakage.
• Resolve issues and anomalies that do not comply with relevant policies and procedures.
• Contribute to reporting, knowledge sharing, best-practice development and coaching junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Relevant insurance qualifications.
• Experience working in a claims department or the insurance industry.
• Experience managing claims within the relevant line of business.
• Capabilities in claims negotiation, settlement and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking and customer-service skills, with sound judgment, analytical thinking and a collaborative approach.
