Vice President, Senior Claims Case Manager (P&C)

What you will do

• Act as the primary client contact throughout the property and casualty claims process, providing updates and advocating for client interests.
• Oversee medium to large and complex claims from initial reporting through settlement, coordinating with brokers, carriers, adjusters, legal counsel, and internal teams.
• Review policy language, interpret coverage, and identify opportunities to maximize recovery or reduce claim costs.
• Negotiate reserves, settlements, and coverage disputes and implement strategic claim resolution plans.
• Maintain claim files, prepare reviews and analyses, update agency management systems, and ensure data integrity.
• Partner with risk advisors, brokers, managers, and sales teams; develop training materials and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Valid Property & Casualty broker or agent license, or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5–8+ years of experience in brokerage, carrier, or claims adjustment roles.
• In-depth understanding of P&C coverage, risk management, and claims procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• CPCU, AIC, or ARM certification.
