Lean Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the site Lean roadmap aligned with plant and corporate objectives.
• Lead value stream mapping, process improvement, standard work, flow, layout, and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Plan and facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba routines, daily management, and Lean maturity assessments.
• Deliver Lean training covering 5S/6S, VSM, Standard Work, SMED, and problem-solving methods.
• Define Lean KPIs, maintain visual management, quantify operational impact, and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, data, and IT teams on Lean and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• 7+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including 5+ years in Lean or Continuous Improvement leadership.
• Proven experience leading Lean transformations in complex, multi-process environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kaizen, VSM, 5S/6S, SMED, TPM/OEE, Kanban/Pull, Standard Work, Visual Management, A3, 8D, and 5-Why.
• Advanced MS Office skills and the ability to build KPI reporting and visual management systems.
• Fluent Romanian and English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
• Project Management certification and multi-site Lean experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and analytics tools.
