Area Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Oversee daily production execution, ensuring output, quality, safety, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Manage operational budgets and align spending with financial targets.
• Develop short- and long-term operational strategies, including five-year capacity planning.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives for high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Lead recovery actions for safety incidents, production disruptions, and quality issues, while supporting investigations, customer audits, and customer communication.
• Manage and develop direct reports, including first-line managers, through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and training.

Requirements

• Experience overseeing production execution and shop-floor performance.
• Ability to manage operational budgets, capacity planning, and manufacturing schedules.
• Experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma methods.
• Ability to resolve safety, production, quality, and performance issues with urgency.
• Ability to collaborate with EHS, Quality, Logistics and Supply Chain, Maintenance, Sales, and Commercial teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Towanda, Pennsylvania.
