Sr. Manager, Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead complex Lean Six Sigma and Panasonic Production System improvement projects across multiple functional areas and business units.
• Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities with the Operational Excellence leadership team through the Hoshin process.
• Facilitate value stream mapping, kaizen, lean thinking, cycle-time reduction, SMED, process mapping, and problem-solving activities.
• Train and mentor Black Belts, Green Belts, sponsors, and employees in Lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Build and manage the productivity project pipeline, aligning resources with annual financial and business objectives.
• Assess operational gaps and drive sustainable organizational change, process improvements, and measurable cost and schedule savings.

Requirements

• Accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 6 years of operational excellence or continuous improvement experience, including 2 or more years as a full-time Black Belt, Lean practitioner, or Industrial Engineer.
• Proven experience in production or manufacturing environments, preferably high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools including FMEA, Kaizen/A3, value stream mapping, Poka Yoke, and process redesign.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience implementing or managing production systems such as ACE or Toyota Production System.
