Engineering Principal (Building Engineering)

Location: United States locations in Milwaukee, Madison, and Saint Louis Park, Minnesota/Wisconsin

Compensation: $142,296–$203,280 annually in Minnesota.

What you will do

• Lead the Building Engineering Services practice and influence culture, recruiting, and business strategy.
• Identify opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to winning work across market sectors.
• Develop project scope, schedules, and fees while coordinating staffing and expertise needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams through conceptual development and project execution.
• Deliver high-quality, coordinated engineering designs while managing scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
• Mentor engineers and represent hirify.global through professional organizations, speaking engagements, publications, and community boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 20 years of engineering experience.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position’s location, such as PE or P.Eng.
• Extensive project execution experience and a proven background in technical leadership for engineering analysis and design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard design software.
